Disney World 2009 pics

We had one full day (Magic Kingdom/Hollywood studios) and 2 half days (epcot). Despite the fact that’s really not long enough, especially for someone who has never been there (Chase & Scott!) we had a LOT of fun (which is why we kept skipping out on the convention way early to go back to the parks… LOL)

We took a TON of pics of the Beauty and the Beast stage show… I’ll try to limit them to a few favs.

They were filming live from the park and I managed to shove Kevin into the shot, you could see him kinda hopping behind one of the newscaster’s heads LMAO

His line was already closed 🙁

We watched Jedi-Training Academy while we ate, rode Star Tours, then went to Lights, Motor Action.

After that we left to go to the Magic Kingdom, and got there just in time for the afternoon parade.

We rode Haunted Mansion, Stitch’s Great Escape… um something else was in there I think LOL. We also wandered around trying to find some place to eat.

Didn’t enjoy the nighttime parade as much… not because we didn’t like the parade (LOVE IT) but couldn’t find anywhere to stand and when we finally did, we kept having parents push their kids in front of us and then sliding in front of us themselves.

and that was the end of day one 🙂

Day 2 – we went to the convention for a few hours, then to Epcot! First thing there was to stop and get Scott’s birthday pin and his gift card 🙂 Then we rode Test Track, which was the longest wait we had for a ride all weekend (over an hour). The boys really wanted to ride it so we waited.

Right towards the end of our ride, our car suddenly stopped and we were left hanging sideways LOL

Two repair guys appeared a few minutes later, got our car moving (slowly) back inside, and then we got to hop into the next car and ride again 🙂 So at least we got 2 rides out of that hour long wait! LOL

Kevin wanted one of these weird toys. LOL I told him it was his money he could buy whatever he wanted.

After that we found a spot to watch the fireworks and then back to the hotel 🙂

Saturday we were supposed to stay at the con until at least 3-4. But we got bored around noon and decided to go to the Disneyworld LOL
(usually at a con if I get bored we go the room and I change costumes… but with Disneyworld down the road that was a bigger draw)

We got to Epcot and found Snow White, her prince and dopey in Germany. Their line was closed but they were coming back in 15 minutes, so since today we weren’t in any kind of hurry to see everything, we waited 🙂 At the time we hadn’t found any character whose line was open or we could wait for them to come back, so we figured we could at least have a pic with Snow White 🙂 (who was so adorable)
(little did we know that this would end our bad luck at finding characters with open lines!)

After that I got a yummy dessert somewhere (dont remember LOL) and we skipped back to Mexico because all the boys wanted margaritas. (even kevin had one! and most of chase’s!)

And right after that we saw Belle not too far away! She was our favourite and I’m not just saying that because it’s my fav Disney movie LOL

So then Scott was Gaston LOL

And then we had found out Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie would be in Morocco – so we went and got pics with them too

After that we had dinner in Italy, which was sooo good. Watched the fireworks and that was it 🙂

IT was a great vacation… we are already planning on going again next year, for a proper amount of time this time.
