Another Tiana, in honour of finally seeing Princess & the Frog last night.
I really liked it. It wasn’t up there with Little Mermaid or BatB or anything, but it was much better than some of the more recent movies (“home on the range”?). I liked Tiana a lot, and Charlotte, too, LOL. I loved the look of the first musical number.
My only issue? We went to the very last show (10pm) to avoid a lot of kids. There ended up being a couple of younger kids in the theater, who were very well behaved, but then this mother walked in 10 minutes after the movie started with a toddler. Who brings a toddler to a 10pm movie? The kid whined and yelled and wasn’t interested in the movie at all. When he started crying she took him down and stood in the hallway with him. He kept getting away from her and running into the front part of the theater, yelling and making noise. WTF?
Finally with about 10 minutes left in the movie she went back up and got her stuff and they left. Why come at all? Let him watch a movie at home, he obviously wasn’t mature enough to sit and watch a movie in a theater, around other people.
