Wonder Girl – Teen Titans (Cassie)

Background: This was a a quick and simple project.

Top:
I started with the red t-shirt, cut the sleeves off, recut the neckline, took it up and rehemmed it. I used leftover gold leather to do the design along the neck. The chestpiece is just my Wonder Woman chestpiece, velcroed in place.

Accessories:
The gauntlets are also my Wonder Woman gauntlets, the wig I had. The jeans I bought – the stars are just sticky back felt – easy to peel back off without damaging the jeans. The belt “buckle” I made out of silver plastic. The shoes are shoes I’ve had for a while.

History: Super simple costume just to match my cousin’s Superboy at GMX. Thought about going back and updating parts of it but never really did… until 2023 when I decided I really wanted to get this shot on the white backdrop!

By that point the original belt buckle was long gone, so my husband 3d printed a new one for me and I attached it to a belt I already had. I also no longer had the original jeans, so I substituted a pair I already had that was as close to the original boot cut that I had (though they were a bit more baggy through the upper leg than the originals).

Thankfully I still had the red felt stars and shoes, and of course still had my Wonder Woman parts. Chestplate doesn’t quite fit the same as it did in 2010, but ah well. Glad to finally have some white backdrop photos of this.
