This was based on a very rough, black and white concept sketch. Decided to put this early in Queen Amidala’s career, pre-TPM.
I’ve been kinda obsessed with pink velvet the last couple of years, so I decided to do some layers of “rose gold” velvet on this one; that’s obviously on the sleeves with a darker pink for the underdress. White velvet front piece. The ends of the sleeves wrapped in a lighter pink silk organza. Mother-of-pearl headpiece and collar, and gold collar and details on the headpiece.
This is one of my favs from the project.
