Stormtrooper – Star Wars

Made for: MidSouthCon 2006

Background: I wanted to be a stormtrooper! I don’t care if I’m a little short.

Armor: There’s really not a lot to say about this. I bought the kit, and, between my local 501st garrison and my husband, got the kit cut down to fit me over a few prop parties.

Helmet: The helmet that came with the kit was way too big for me – it would have made me look like a bobblehead, so I bought a new, smaller helmet. It’s really nice! It’s an RT-Mod, I believe.

Accessories: The bodysuit I already had (from Dark Phoenix), and the boots I bought at a local costume store. Same with the gloves. And the gun I already had. At Comic Con I wore my Leia buns under the helmet, and also wore it that way at Dragoncon 🙂

History: I wore this a lot in 2006, and only sporadically since. It’s easier to throw Leia on, honestly.
